This current season of the Bundesliga is the last one of Pep Guardiola as the head coach of Bayern Munich, the highly rated coach has already stated that he wants to exit the Allianz Arena and go somewhere else, find a new club, a new obstacle. Pep Guardiola did something similar a few years ago when he was in charge of Barcelona where he decided to leave the Spanish club even though everything was going excellently for him.
Pep Guardiola seems to have a tendency of leaving clubs when they are at their best state. This is what happened when he was in charge of Barcelona and after having won a the Kings Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and the Spanish Super Cup, all of these titles were secured in the last season that Guardiola spent as the head coach of Barcelona.
Bayern Munich and Pep Guardiola are dominating the German League after having collecting a total of 46 points from their opening 17 league matches which have been played so far. This is an astounding amount of points, the 2nd place team is Borussia Dortmund and they are 8 points behind after only being able to seal 38 points in the same amount of games.
Even though things are going amazingly well for Pep Guardiola in the Allianz Arena, he wants to leave at the end of the current season but he has not revealed which club he has plans of taking charge of next, however, he did say that the Premier League is a big possibility as the Spanish manager wants to become the head coach of a top team in England and he has already received numerous offers.
Arsene Wenger recently voiced his thoughts concerning Pep Guardiola and the French manager stated that Guardiola would be a good coach to take charge of Arsenal after his time at the Emirates Stadium reaches it’s end.
Wenger said: “Would Pep’s three-year blocks suit Arsenal? Anything is suitable. “Every manager has his own way to run and model his career. There’s not only one way as long as they give their best to the club where they are. What I think is most important is that anybody who works for a football club gives full commitment’’
It’s been over 18 years since Arsene Wenger initiated his career as the coach of Arsenal and there were questions surrounding who could be his successor and it seems like Pep Guardiola is one of the coaches that Wenger fully supports that can replace him if that time arrives.
