Arsenal manager Unai Emery has praised the attitude of midfielder Aaron Ramsey over the past few weeks at the club. The Wales international has already announced that he would be leaving the Gunners at the expiry of his contract in the summer after reaching a pre-contract agreement with Juventus.
Ramsey was initially expecting to sign a new contract at the beginning of the season and the same looked likely with Emery talking up over the same. However, in a surprise change of events, the board decided to rescind the contract package on the table, and this has eventually benefited the Bianconeri, who made the swift move to finalise the pre-contract.
Despite this, the midfielder has regularly spoken about the prospect of ending his Gunners career on a high and it remains to be seen whether he can help the club achieve their main objectives. The north London side are currently occupying the fourth position on the table after 33 games played and they are on course to return to the Champions League next term, provided they can win the remaining matches.
Elsewhere, the Capital outfit could do the same by winning the Europa League altogether. Arsenal are currently holding a 2-0 advantage after the first leg of their quarter-final clash against Napoli and they appear favourites to progress when the sides meet for the second leg at the Stadio San Paolo on Thursday night.
